Remote IED Render Safe Training

Extremists’ use of stand-off initiation devices has expanded the potential threat to Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Operators investigating suspicious packages/vehicles.Tactical Electronics’ Remote IED Render Safe Training is designed in collaboration with the agency’s Bomb Squad Commander and/or Training Coordinator. The focal point of this training comprises a combination of practical lessons and situational training exercises (STXs) for team engagement. This training can be part of a modular development plan, a progressive training program, or simply used to validate a Bomb Squad’s operational readiness or capabilities. During training, attendees will be encouraged to practice their remote operating skills based on logical threat assessment and good choice of weapons and tools.
